  • American Board Funeral Service Organization

    The ABFSE serves as the national academic accreditation agency for college and university programs in Funeral Service and Mortuary Science Education. Although its roots go back to the 1940's, the ABFSE became an autonomous agency in 1962. The accrediting function of ABFSE is recognized by the US Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation.

  • Cremation Association of North America

    CANA was founded in 1913. This international association, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, has over 1,200 members, including cemeterians, cremationists, funeral directors, industry suppliers, and consultants. CANA members believe that cremation is preparation for memorialization.

  • International Conference of Funeral Examining Boards

    The International Conference is a not-for-profit voluntary association providing examination services, information, and regulatory support to funeral service licensing boards and educators, governmental bodies and other regulatory agencies.

  • National Funeral Directors Association

    The National Funeral Directors Association is the worldwide source of expertise and professional resources for all facets of funeral service. Through education, information and advocacy, NFDA is dedicated to supporting members in their mission to provide families with meaningful end-of-life services at the highest levels of excellence and integrity. NFDA is the world's leading funeral service association, serving 19,700 individual members who represent more than 10,000 funeral homes in the United States and internationally. From its headquarters in Brookfield, Wis., and its Advocacy office in Washington, D.C., NFDA informs, educates and advocates to help members enhance the quality of service they provide to families.

    The Independent Funeral Directors of Florida (IFDF) promotes, preserves, and protects independent funeral home, crematory and cemetery firms throughout Florida. With more than 250 member locations, IFDF works tirelessly to support these businesses, their employees and the families they serve. Our association cultivates strong bonds, deepens trust, and helps maintain the integrity of the funeral profession. Together, we are "Families Serving Families."

  • The International Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association

    The International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA) is the only international trade association representing all segments of the cemetery, funeral service, cremation and memorialization profession. The association is comprised of more than 10,000 members in the cemetery, funeral home and crematory industries, as well as supplier and related businesses worldwide.
